Year 3
Year 3 are taught by Miss Cook from Monday to Wednesday and Miss Georgiou on Thursday and Friday each week. Miss Beek, Teaching Assistant, also works alongside the class during the week.

Miss Cook writes a newsletter three times a year to explain the topics that the class will be following and the focus of the learning.

Homework in Year 3
Homework is always sent home on a Friday and should be completed by Thursday of the following week. For ease, all homework is recorded in the school planner.
Each week, children in Year 3 are expected to read their school reading book a minimum of three times. This reading should be recorded in the school planner.
In addition to reading, Year 3 children also have some maths challenges stuck into their planners – these are questions base don themes that the children have already seen and studied earlier in the week.
Children in Year 3 also have spellings – there are spaces in the planner to practise the spellings and write some of the spellings in sentences.
